Don’t forget to visit the gardens on the campus of Princeton University and the University Art Museum which frequently has special activities for children.

Step back in time on this beautiful farm and see how things were done. Educational and fun with many different activities offered year-round. The fall brings the Amazing Maize Maze, a literal fun maze amid the stalks of corn.

Delaware-Raritan Canal http://www.dandrcanal.com/interest.html

Wonderful trails for walking, biking, seeing butterflies, canoeing – can pick it up right off Washington Road in Princeton. There is a great place to rent canoes/kayaks on Alexander Road in Princeton. Pack a picnic and eat while on the water watching the turtles sun themselves on the logs. If it snows, you can snowshoe along the canal and if it gets cold enough, Lake Carnegie is open for ice skating.
